The Kalamazoo Sail & Power Squadron (KSPS)
is a unit of
United States Power Squadrons®
(USPS), a nationwide non-profit organization of
boating enthusiasts, both power and sail,
dedicated to promoting boating safety and
education. The USPS is comprised of 33
districts: unions of different local squadrons in a
general area of coverage. KSPS belongs to
District 9 along with 24 other squadrons, each  
dedicated to providing boating education in
Michigan and northern Indiana
KSPS members live in the counties of Allegan, Barry, Branch, Calhoun, Kalamazoo,
St. Joseph and Van Buren; and boat regularly on the lakes in southwest Michigan,
Lake Michigan and beyond.
