In the past, classes beyond ABC - America's Boating Course and the DNR Youth Boating
Class were open only to squadron members.
Our national organization has opened the elective classes to nonmembers. Members get a
price break on classes plus many other benefits (see Member Benefits).
Classes are offered when 4 or more members are interested in a particular class.

Responsibilities of the skipper, boat care, operating a boat under normal and abnormal conditions, what to do in various emergencies and weather conditions, nautical customs and common courtesy on the water are just some of the topics covered. |
