The Kalamazoo Sail & Power Squadron (KSPS)
is a unit of United States Power Squadrons®
(USPS), a nationwide non-profit organization of
boating enthusiasts, both power and sail,
dedicated to promoting boating safety and
education. The USPS is comprised of 33
districts: unions of different local squadrons in a
general area of coverage. The KSPS belongs to
District 9 along with 24 other local squadrons,
and each one dedicated to providing boating
education to the Lower Peninsula of Michigan
and northern Indiana

KSPS members live in Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Van Buren, Barry and Allegan counties,
